ABOUT THIS ART PIECE
You've heard of therapy, but have you tried dissociating instead? Move over villain era. It's time for emotional unavailability, leaving your friends and family on "read" for days at a time before struggling to create an excuse for your extended absence, and detaching yourself from your emotions, your surroundings, and reality. Why deal with your woes when you can enter your delusional dissociative era?
This 12 piece series focuses on dissociating, existential dread, and all the delusional fun that comes with navigating mental health in the modern world, where it feels easier to make a meme than get help.

HOW IT'S MADE
This mixed media piece starts with a collage background using the pages of a thrifted Impressionism Art Book. From there, the background is hand spray painted, with acetone occasionally allowing the images underneath to peak through. Then, using digital drawings created in GIMP, the artist draws and creates figures, then using manipulation to create blur patterning.
This digital drawing is printed, then hand transferred onto glassine paper using a mix of laser ink, ink pen, and acrylic paint. Using the artist's unique blend of spirits and mediums, the paper is hand manipulated to turn transparent and sealed, then manually adhered with the artist's unique matte medium blend.
Lastly, the lettering is cut on vinyl, with each letter hand cut. Using transfer paper, the lettering is adhered to the canvas, then spray painted. The vinyl is removed to show the spray paint lettering, and the piece is sealed with 2 layers of spray satin varnish.

Canvas: This art piece is created on hand stretched canvas.
Frame: As this piece is on canvas, there is no additional framing for this piece
Hanging: This piece has been pre-hung and features coated galvanized gallery wire attached to D-hooks for easy hanging
Finish: This piece has been sealed with the appropriate spray satin varnish to ensure longevity and easier handling

PACKAGING:
Original Art being picked up or delivered within Calgary & Area will include corner protection, art padding (bubble wrap, acid and print free paper, or foam) and be packaged in a clear plastic bag for easy transport.
Original Art being shipped via courier will be packed in cardboard shipping boxes with corner protection and padding, with acid free padding over front of art (padding varies by art piece). In some cases, I-beams may be used for additional sturdiness.
Material may vary and we prioritize reusing appropriate packaging and boxes where possible to reduce waste.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Production Time: Please allow 1, up to no more than 5 days for your art to be packaged before shipping. For delivery, transit time is typically 2–14 business days, depending on shipping location. Most items will arrive within 3 to 10 business days after order has been confirmed, but may vary by item, print partner, and shipping partner.
