Someone Else (Original)
ABOUT THIS ART PIECE
This piece is about self exploration, and a commentary on not being able to recognize that the world in our minds versus reality may differ, despite who we are. Who we TRULY are is to some extent the same despite the negative attributes we assign ourselves.
We can be in our heads and think that who we are and the world around us is something of coldness, and be our own worst self-saboteurs if we want to, but by continuing to be a hazard to ourselves, we may only be blocking ourselves from reality and from celebrating the little moments that make life worth living.
If you're looking for a large, one of a kind statement piece with bright colours that evokes a deep meaning and sense of exploration, this is the piece for you, whether it's above an entry console, your crushed velvet couch, or your moody bedroom bedframe.
SIZE: 16 in x 40 in
HOW IT'S MADE
A clean white line is defined to the left of bright spray paint in various colours. Drawings of a women are created on vellum and attached after getting a translucency bath using the artist's own mix. Once attached, a perfect reflection is added using some spiffy artsy secrets. This piece is then sealed with a polyurethane varnish and a few more varnish finishes to ensure archival quality and art integrity.
