Comparing yourself to others is one of the worst but most common toxic traits we experience. But jealousy and insecurity aren’t a cause, but an insidious symptom of your needs not being met. We get stuck in our loops. Is it me? Is it someone else? If it is someone else, what do they have that I don't? What can I do to coax them back? It’s all a trick - a distraction - preventing you from realizing what hurt was a misalignment within yourself and a challenge to a belief about who you.
This mixed media and oil painted piece encompasses that "toxic trait" of comparing. We may finally feel content in our skin, but those distracted thoughts will always loom in the background, even if just a faded and distant relative, and we are responsible for managing and overcoming that ongoing toxic trait before it consumes you whole.

High quality art prints made to preserve the details and colours of the original work. All prints were printed locally in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with local Calgary based printing partners, and then hand written name and signature added to each one by the artist.
Each print has been packaged with a white acid-free backboard to prevent bending for safe shipping and placed in acid-free cellophane to preserve the artwork.
Borders: All paper prints include a white border as shown in pictures and mock ups - size of the print is the overall size, including margins. This is done to help non-standard art sizes fit standard frames.
Print to Fit: This print and white margins were sized to be compatible with standard frames. No tricky frame searches or headaches caused by art being cut off once framed... Or, feel free to trim it down to whatever size you'd like. Your choice!
Paper Finishing: Smooth matte finish for a clean, glare-free display.
Paper Weight: 270 gsm, 13 pt uncoated matte cardstock with a natural finish - gives a classic, timeless feel that will look good in whichever frame you choose.
Framing: Choose your own framing option. Any mock ups showing frames or mattes are for demonstrative purposes only.
