ABOUT THIS ART PIECE
The rulers of space must be divine. Godlike. They must transcend across the galaxy, lay upon the planets, endlessly effortless and glowing. They must hold a knowledge unknown to our simple mankind. They must hold an insurmountable power with calm certainty and steadfast clarity. For I cannot imagine a world without something divine truly behind our galaxy, intentionally staying hidden from our mere mortal attempt at their astronomy. It's their world, and we just live in it.
MEDIUMS: Mixed Media on canvas (black gesso, spray paint, oil paint on vellum, oil pastel on vellum)

HOW IT'S MADE
Starting on canvas, black gesso acts as a grounding for a spray paint background of stars. Separately, an oil painting of a women was painted on a background of vellum prepped with matte medium. Once fully dry, careful precision was used to cut the painting out.
Separately, planets of our galaxy were hand drawn on vellum, and coloured to match our actual galaxy using oil pastels. Once both the oil painting and planets were dry, setting sprays were used to enable collage onto the canvas using a matte medium.
FRAMES, FINISHES, HANGING
Canvas: This art piece is created on hand stretched canvas.
Frame: As this piece is on canvas, there is no additional framing for this piece
Hanging: This piece has been pre-hung and features coated galvanized gallery wire attached to D-hooks for easy hanging
Finish: This piece will be sealed with the appropriate varnish to ensure longevity and easier handling.

PACKAGING:
Original Art being picked up or delivered within Calgary & Area will include corner protection, art padding (bubble wrap, acid and print free paper, or foam) and be packaged in a clear plastic bag for easy transport.
Original Art being shipped via courier will be packed in cardboard shipping boxes with corner protection and padding, with acid free padding over front of art (padding varies by art piece). In some cases, I-beams may be used for additional sturdiness.
Material may vary and we prioritize reusing appropriate packaging and boxes where possible to reduce waste.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Production Time: Please allow 1, up to no more than 5 days for your art to be packaged before shipping. For delivery, transit time is typically 2–14 business days, depending on shipping location. Most items will arrive within 3 to 10 business days after order has been confirmed, but may vary by item, print partner, and shipping partner.
Shipping Partners: Shipping fulfillers will depend on what item you order and may vary.
International Orders: Shipping times vary by destination. Additional shipping charges and customs fees may apply and we will confirm before shipping if any additional shipping or packaging fees apply due to location. You may be responsible for any customs, duties or taxes upon receipt.
